 +The full name of this project is **"The project-based language learning method — construction project for the online database of learning materials,"** an approved project of "2020 Shanghai Sanda University undergraduate innovative and entrepreneurial training project." Our members are all students of the class of 2022, who majoring in International Economics and Trade from Shengxiang School of Business, Shanghai Sanda University.

 +Globalization is a big trend nowadays, as the most widely spoken language[(#1)], English has a particular significance in the education of Chinese higher schools. It is a continuous topic for discussion on how to improve the quality of English teaching and creat and interest in what students learn.

 +**Project-based language learning** (PBL) is a student-centered pedagogy that organizes learning around projects. So, what must a project have in order to be considered an instance of PBL? According to John W. Thomas's (2000) review of references[(#2)],
